Shine Beauty shines at the Excellence in Business Awards (November 2008)Last night Shine Beauty was awarded the prestigious '2008 Excellence in Business Award' (Lifestyle and Leisure category). Thank you on behalf of the all the Shine team and our dedicated staff. Shine is honored to be recognized by the Sunshine Coast - Excellence in Business Awards. We would like to commend the industry groups, organizations and personnel whom this year have dedicated and sacrificed their time to assist with the running of the awards and the awards ceremony. We are so very proud to have won this award again this year. It is an amazing honor to be recognized for our business systems and achievements. Often, I believe business leaders & industry drivers are so caught up in their businesses, with business challenges, striving and pushing for successes that we can miss the little achievements and celebrations along the journey... and we should celebrate these. Since our first opening day, in June 1999 we have strived to achieve business excellence. Shine has expanded into 4 salons and into 3 regions (Sunshine Coast, Brisbane & the Gold Coast). We have worked hard on our branding, our core values, training, site selection, treatment design, web systems, reporting systems, operations manuals, training manuals and so many other systems and tools. Tonight Tania and I would really like to thank the Shine girls, the team and all the staff over the past nine years that have helped Shine to succeed and grow.
